These Are *Actually* a Few of My Favorite Things

So, I made a blog post in 2023 titled "These Are a Few of My Favorite Things," and reading it back, I'm perplexed. Some of the things listed are no longer my favorite, but some of the things listed I'm certain have never been my favorite. I made that original blog post just so the blog portion on my website wouldn't be empty and I never made any other blog posts. Now that I'm finally updating my website (and going to post regularly on my blog)* I want to set the record straight on what my favorite things are.

• favorite flower: still daffodil, some things never change.

• favorite color: still pink.

• favorite food: still pasta, but specifically angel hair pasta in a cream sauce with caramelized onions and chili oil. It's otherworldly.

• favorite desert: banana milkshake !

• favorite fruit: my favorite fruit is peach and it's always been peach. I don't know why I said strawberry in 2023.

• favorite vegetable: in 2023, I said I don't like vegetables, which isn't necessarily untrue, but my favorite is artichoke.

• favorite movie: it's hard to choose, but The Perks of Being a Wallflower is definitely one of them, so that's fair enough.

• favorite tv show: it truly depends on the day. I do love Loki and Heartstopper though the first seasons really carry. Community, Brooklyn 99, and New Girl are excellent. Degrassi or Pretty Little Liars when I'm feeling nostalgic.

• favorite book: still The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and that's unlikely to change cause I don't read.

• favorite singer: Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Noah Kahan are my top 3.

• favorite actor: in 2023, I said Tom Hiddleston. I don't think that's correct, but I also can't think of anyone I like more so I guess that works.

• favorite song: cowboy like me by Taylor Swift always.

• favorite album: still evermore.

• favorite Marvel movie: still Thor: Ragnarok, and given the quality of marvel movies these days I'm guessing that won't change.

• favorite band: okay this is the one that really threw me off. In 2023, I said MUNA. I barely listen to MUNA, I guess it was just the only band I could think of. In present day I'm going to lock in Twenty One Pilots.

• favorite ice cream flavor: either mint chocolate chip or cookies and cream.

• favorite soup: perhaps a broccoli cheddar.

• favorite pasta shape: still angel hair, it's the GOAT.

• favorite tree: I previously said cherry blossom which is a pretty good tree, but I think I prefer willow trees, or the kind that is peely and rainbow.

• favorite season: still spring.

• favorite month: still June.

• favorite temperature: I stood by 82 degrees for a long time, but it's too hot. 75 degrees.

• favorite tiktoker: this is constantly changing. It's definitely not Kenny Haller anymore. I like the blonde girl that makes elephant stuffed animals. I don't know her name.

• favorite Trader Joe's frozen meal: this is kinda a dumb category.
